CEO  

A former bank examiner for the U.S. Treasury, Paul is a seasoned fintech entrepreneur with a track record of building successful technology companies from the ground up. He founded Goldleaf Technologies, a sector pioneer that built and hosted over 1,000 regulatory compliant bank websites. Goldleaf developed the first web-based ACH processing software, utilized by over 3,000 financial institutions.

He also founded MCN Interactive, a leading digital agency that designed high-end websites, eCommerce platforms, and subscriptions services for iconic entertainment brands and corporations.

Besides serving as CEO for CBC Underwriters, Paul also holds the same position for  Lendovative Technologies  which provides specialty lending technology solutions to financial institutions.

PRESIDENT

Kevin Stratton is the President of CBCUI, bringing over 30 years of experience in the global (re)insurance marketplace. His career highlights include building two successful start-ups—one at Lloyd’s of London and another in Bermuda for a boutique New York investment bank—and holding executive leadership roles at Aon both and Willis Towers Watson over a 12-year period. 

Kevin is known for his entrepreneurial approach, fostering strong client relationships, and delivering innovative (re)insurance solutions with integrity. Since 2006, he has specialized in staff absence insurance, particularly in creating risk transfer solutions for the education sector including captives and mutuals.

Non-Executive Chairman

Andrew has over 50 years of experience in the insurance industry, leading and scaling multiple successful businesses. He spearheaded transformative growth at Nelson Hurst & Marsh, Andrew Wallas & Marsh, Glencairn Ltd and Martello Underwriting.

As Chairman of CBC UK, he facilitated a management buyout, driving its valuation from £3.8 million in 2017 to £160 million by 2023. He also founded Alchemy Underwriting in 2022, now underwriting £200 million GWPI.  

Subsequently founding The School for Business Alchemy, Andrew offers training for senior executives in how to unblock potential and create borderless positive transformation of their business, along the principles set out in his pioneering work.
